Managers Announcements:

  • It has come to the Board’s attention that a large amount of homeowners are planting vegetation adjacent to the wall and fences of our community. The Board welcomes the green environment that our homeowners desire. However, it is important to remember to keep those plantings far enough away as to not damage the common area wall and fences. It should be kept trimmed far enough away to allow for the proper maintenance of this common area property. If your plantings, trees, and shrubs impinge on the wall or fence, please remove or trim far enough back to avoid this contact. If these plantings cause damage or impede the proper maintenance of those walls and fences, the cost for the remedy will be assessed to the homeowner. The repair of any damage to the common area will also be passed on to the homeowner. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Let’s all do our part in keeping Bryn Mawr a beautiful place to live and enjoy.

Common Area News

  • We recently had a roof leak around the fireplace and over the sliders at the pool. Upon inspection it was noticed that there was mold and mildew about. The EPA was called in to supervise the removal of all the mold. They took air samples and check the walls and ceiling.
  • AS A RESULT THERE WILL BE NO HALL RENTALS FOR THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE.
  • The Board is addressing the issue of replacing the walls and ceilings that have been damaged and has made a claim with our insurance company.

Pool News:

  • Thank you to the homeowners who have been lowering the umbrellas when they leave. It will save us money by not having to replace them as often. However it only takes one or two to neglect and we have problems.
  • Also when opening the umbrella don’t go up so tight as we now have two broken ropes that connect the handles, and the repairs are costly.
  • The recent pool closer by the board of Health was for a number of safety items. The year and a half old life preservers and rope had been cut and ripped apart by vandals. There were missing plugs in the pool vacuum line and the signs did not reflect all the new language required. The log was not up to date. All has been addressed and we were approved a week later to reopen. New signs have been ordered.
  • Don’t forget to look at the message boards by the pool and at the front door as there is always new and important info for you to see there.
