Storm Delays in collection of Yard Waste

The recent storms have brought down several trees and large limbs across the City. This has created a heavier than normal yard waste collection as residents clean up after the storms. Much of the tree debris has been unbundled which slows down the collection process. It would help to have the tree debris bundled or bagged as this will help speed up the collection. One suggestion to bundle the tree debris is use duct tape to tie the bundles also bundle smaller amounts together. For collector safety, customers must limit the weight of bags and bundles to less than 40 lbs. Crews will work extra hours until the debris is collected, including this weekend.
