Recycle Unwanted Electronic and Textile Items February 25
Electronic waste represents two percent of trash in landfills, but makes up 70 percent of overall toxic waste. On February 25, at Orlando Festival Park you have the opportunity to help out with this problem, and you do not even need to leave your car.
Keep Orlando Beautiful is hosting an electronic waste and textile recycling event from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Bring that old printer you have laying around or the stack of sweaters from the 90s and they will be safely and properly recycled.
Orlando Festival Park is located at 2911 East Robinson Street.
Electronics, clothing and home textiles will be accepted. After dropping off items you will be entered to win an Android NeuTab 10.1″ tablet, donated by A1 Assets.
