2017 HOA Dues

As we prepare our second quarter, we still have 10 members with outstanding balances on their dues from 2016 and 26 are overdue on their 2017 first quarter dues.  Please pay your dues as soon as possible.  We have a number of spring time projects and paying your dues on time will allow us to have the necessary funds to keep our community looking beautiful.

For those of you that have paid on time, thank you.

Spring Is Upon Us

The ARB Committee would like to remind everyone that if you plan to make any changes to your property, please remember to complete the Architectural Modification Request Form to have your work approved by the HOA. Please note, the ARB Committee’s job is to make sure that your investment is protected and grows in value by keeping the community looking great. Help them by doing your part – inspect your property, apply for a permit, and complete the Architectural Modification Request Form.

The Social Committee is planning to hold our Community Garage Sale on Earth Day, which is Saturday, April 22 from 8 AM to 1 PM.  If you are interested in participating, please email social@brynmawrsouth.com or call the office at (407) 658-8868.  Signs will be placed at the entrance of each road on Ashford that will have a house participating.  Advertisements on craigslist and other sources will communicate that these will be the only streets having homes participating.  We hope this will keep unwanted traffic out of other areas of the community.


Clubhouse News

The Board has awarded Rhyne Restoration of Orlando the contract to replace the roof at the clubhouse.  In addition, the Board awarded Gillespie Painting of Belle Isle the contract to paint the clubhouse and the fence around the pool.  The board is currently working with a consultant to get the proper color scheme together, using our community colors.  Once the Board chooses one of these color schemes, the painting will commence.  Upon making the color scheme selection, the Board can then determine which color the new roof will be.


Common Area News

Pool Area Incidents and Upcoming Closing

Last month we had two incidents at the pool.  One involved someone bringing a dog in the pool area.  The other involved young ladies fooling and running around the pool. The ladies were filmed throwing pool furniture and rocks into one of our pools. In both cases, the parties have been sent a warning stating if it happens again they will be fined.  Please help keep your property from being ruined by obeying the rules.

Due to the upcoming new roof and clubhouse painting, the pool area will be closed during this time.  We will let you know what those dates are as soon as they are determined.

New Fence Update

We are nearing completion of the new fence.   Additional soil had to be put in to ensure the fence meets Code Enforcement standards of not exceeding more than six feet in height from the ground to the top of the fence.  If you are a home owner where the new fence has been installed, you may have contractors or other personnel on your property during this process.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Next Board of Directors Meeting is March 21 at 7 PM and will be held at the clubhouse.
